We were very proud to be asked to create a new website for Carlisle Ambassadors, moving away from an existing WordPress solution which no longer met the needs of the group.
Bringing together the branding and clear information about the aims of the Ambassadors, we migrated a range of information from the previous website across to a new CMS platform, which included both WordPress posts and pages brought into the new blog solution, along with over 100 member listings into a new directory listing platform.
Member registration and login access was configured, requiring the website administrators to approve new user access requests, before assigning them to an existing member listing or providing access for them to set up a new one. Once logged in, users are presented with their own business listing management dashboard, and a user guide which tells them how to add and manage their listing.
The blog is split into a range of categories, allowing information and news to be posted into the relevant sections of the website, making it easy and quick for site administrators to add and manage content.
A range of hosting and CMS speed features were enabled to ensure the website pages load fast for website visitors and users.
