Websites created using our SHINE Method

Event sales website design, with Zoom, Stripe and MailChimp Integration

MATCPD

THE BRIEF

As an existing client who we have worked with on two previous websites (Keystone Knowledge and SchoolMark), we were invited to work with them again to create a website for a new business.

MATCPD is a platform to market, sell, and deliver professional development designed for school and trust leaders. The brief was to create a unique website design, crafted for their market, to integrate with Zoom, Stripe, Microsoft 365 SSO/Single-Sign-On, and MailChimp, allowing them to have one central point of contact for customers.

THE APPROACH

Starting with the client-supplied branding, content, and design brief, we worked on the design at the same time as testing and implementing the required features on the development website.

This approach allowed us to work efficiently, with our own team members able to work on their elements from the beginning and not be held up by other parts of the project. As the initial design concepts were being prepared, we were also working on the event booking system, and the integrations with Stripe, Zoom, MailChimp, and the Microsoft 365 app needed for the single-sign-on to work.

Once the design was approved, we then built this over the top of the development website, bringing it all together sooner than our agreed schedule.

THE RESULTS

The finished website delivers both the unique aesthetic the client desired, whilst also integrating all of their required features.

The client is able to set up the meeting in Zoom, and use the short meeting ID code from Zoom when creating the events within the website.

Website visitors can choose to create an account directly with the website, or use any Microsoft 365 email account to sign in through the single-sign-on process, avoiding the need for them to remember additional usernames and passwords.

On booking and paying for an event, the registrant is emailed confirmation from the website which also contains the information and link needed to join the Zoom meeting for the course.

The purchaser is also registered directly with the Zoom meeting, where Zoom lists them as a registrant within its own platform. Zoom also sends its own email out to further confirm the event and details.

Trainers that deliver events can also be registered within the website, and events can be assigned to them - if they then login to the website, they are able to view and download a registrants list. A number of reminder emails can also be configured at set days in advance of the event.

Payment is all handled via Stripe, which provides its own secure payment page, ensuring security of card details at all times.

Client training was delivered throughout the project, allowing them to be confident in managing the events and bookings in advance of the website going live.

As one of our most comprehensive projects to date, we are really happy with how the project progressed, and the results we've been able to deliver.
