THE CHALLENGE
Chrysalis Cumbria - a charity supporting adults with learning disabilities - had a website that was doing them no favours. It was dated, hard to navigate, and failed to reflect the warmth, professionalism, and impact of their work. Worse still, it wasn’t helping them attract donors or showcase their services effectively.
OUR APPROACH
We teamed up with designer Rebecca Watson, who already had deep insight into Chrysalis’s ethos and values working on their new brand and logo.
We rebuilt the site from the ground up:
- Strategy: We clarified their goals -visibility, donor engagement, and service clarity.
- Human-first design: Rebecca crafted vibrant, inclusive visuals that reflect the charity’s personality.
- Intelligent content: We structured the homepage and key sections to guide visitors intuitively.
- Navigation & tech: Fast-loading pages, mobile optimisation, and secure hosting on our high-spec server.
- Engagement: Editable sections empower the Chrysalis team to keep content fresh and relevant.
THE RESULTS
The new site is a bold, beautiful reflection of Chrysalis’s mission. It’s easy to navigate, emotionally engaging, and built for speed and scalability. Donors, families, and stakeholders now experience a site that builds trust from the first click.
