Over the past few months, something significant has been happening behind the scenes - and today I'm proud to share it.
Light Bulb Web Design has officially taken over the hosting and ongoing support of more than 40 Northamptonshire school websites, previously managed by [Tapiochre Web Design](https://tapiochre.co.uk/).
**This transition wasn't just a technical handover. It was built on trust.**
Chris, the owner of Tapiochre, has decided to move into semi‑retirement after many years of supporting schools across the county. He wanted to ensure his clients were looked after by a reliable, professional, and genuinely caring team - a business that would maintain the standards he'd built his reputation on. I'm grateful he chose us.
**A smooth, secure transition**
We've now migrated every school website onto our own high‑performance hosting platform, giving each site a faster, more secure, and more stable foundation for the future. Every migration was handled carefully and methodically, with zero disruption to the schools; exactly how it should be.
**Growing our team to support growing demand**
Taking on more than 40 new school clients is a big responsibility, and we've treated it as such. To ensure we continue delivering the high standards we're known for, we've expanded our support team, adding extra capacity and expertise. That means quicker responses, smoother updates, and the reassurance that every school - new or long‑standing - gets the same level of attention and care.
