Hello Toys approached us to create an e-commerce website with integrated eBay product sales, so that they can list items on their website and send them from there straight to their eBay store without needing to list the item in both places separately.
Along with the e-commerce requirements, Hello Toys also asked for an integrated blog and a few information pages about their company and what they offer.
With a full colour scheme and logo change part way through the project, we have created a lovely website, hosted on a secured server with a dedicated SSL certificate to ensure credit/debit card payment details are protected during the check-out process.
All of the eBay stock and sales management can be performed through the website, with no need to login to eBay at any stage. All orders from the e-commerce website and eBay are directed through the website, which also provides a wealth of reporting functionality to track sales and income. Customers can create their own account with the store, letting them setup product Wish Lists, track orders and view purchase history.
A number of extra features were set up including the option for customers to buy online then choose 'Click and Collect' for in-store pickup. Online payments can be taken via PayPal or Stripe - Stripe is a PCI Level 1 compliant card payment gateway with similar (but cheaper) fees to PayPal with no monthly charge.
